I just did not feel content with the last one I posted. Now i can let this idea die... in an aperture science emergency intelligence incinerator.
Programs used: Blender 3D, Textures are from cgtextures.com and were edited by me in gimp 2.7.

Okay as any self respecting Portal fan I have to love the companion cube
Seeing as that I'm practicing stuff (and considering I already made a keychain of it) I thought I'd give it a go. Should've been simple enough; it isn't I remembered seeing this when I browsed your gallery and came to take a look again.
I'm pretty happy with the base I have, actually, but after seeing this so professional looking>.< I gotta admit my confidence faltered a bit The main problem, rather two main problems, are the hearts and the glow that wasn't.
From the looks of it here you added the hearts as a plane/extruded it from the surface. I thought of doing that but I'd still rather have it like a painted on image. (also I don't know how to shape a heart ) So far I've managed to draw a heart into one of the faces, but assigning the same material/textures to the other circles isn't working.. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that I used the UV editor for that one circle only maybe
